people have a right to protest in a free country, although I don't think the way they're going about things is the most effective at making their point. Protest is one of the few options available to us as citizens to make our voices heard, so to clamp down on these people would be to start the process of removing a right that we will likely all need or use at some point in our lives.
as an example, Im sure the mass demonstrations about the european super league were disruptive to some, and yet who would support locking up or hanging everyone involved in those? -
