Can’t believe some fans have gone onto the Larne Twitter account to troll him. Cyber bullying has had dire consequences for some families. The guy has left the club and should be left to try and build a career elsewhere without being harassed.

Comments like this are quite sad really.

No malice at all though, good luck to him. Always gave his all, just never anywhere near good enough.

Scored his first goal for Larne on Tuesday on his first start.



Doesn't look like much of a standard, but happy for the lad.

 

Good luck to him. Didn't work out either time. Just didn't show anything to get a starting spot this season. Hope he gets a spot at a club where he can get a run of games and the chance to show he can build a career.

Could see him in the Champions League qualifying rounds though ! Good luck to the lad, at least he will continue to play and make a living out of football, which (whatever we think of him) is more than most of us on here could ever do.

Hope DMH and French go on and find clubs. For us this is another correct decision in our jan recruitment as neither Would figure and the wages could be used better elsewhere. We’ve managed to shift out those who weren’t playing or contributing bar Ishmael who seems permanently injured. The incomings seem positive. Overall it’s the best jan window for years. However the bar was scraping the floor.

 

To be honest, I know some players who played against him at youth level who says he's a very good player.

I don't think he'll improve with training, but he could grow if he gets a run of games at a level he can influence. The problem is, League Two is not that level.

 

The club and fans seem to be in accord
with what was wanted for outgoings and
a decent number of signings with Rowe
looking especially good business.

Tranmere fans seemed to like him from his loan time there so just shows you how lower league footballers can be so hit or miss.

 

Signing him on loan in the first place was strange. Giving him a contract after that loan spell was downright bizarre!

 

Exactly that. Why is everything so cut and dry and harsh these days? Sad world we live in. It didn’t work, surely wasn’t on much money and McCall has now gone so only normal for previous regimes signings to move on.
It doesn’t mean he needs to be followed around and ridiculed. Pathetic really.
