I don't think we can level the accusation that he's not worked hard enough at him, I've seen him put the effort in. There's an argument that you could say you've been disappointed with his performances this season, but again, I'd write them off as it was the Rahic era (and the tactics we employed. HOOOFFFF) he's been a lot better post Rahic.

 

Here's a reason to not sell Doyle...

If you look at his playing history, in almost all cases his record in his first season at a club has been mediocre. There has generally been a significant improvement in his second season.

There's hope yet for the lad.

 

Doyle has improved big style since we've played with the ball on the deck and shown what a good forward he is when playing to his strengths. The lad can't be blamed for the shambles caused by Edins stupidity in appointing a novice coach , and having Doyle playing as a target man when this isn't a role he plays. You can see his confidence is coming back and he seems to be enjoying his football again and hopefully he will bag a few goals from now until the end of the season.
