Peterborough and Portsmouth are both misfiring at the moment but we'll soon get them back on track....

 

Agree, prepare now. Sack Hopkin, nothing to lose as he hasn't a prayer of saving us from relegation anyhow.

Do whatever we can to tempt Paul Hurst, who has 3 promotions under his belt, as well as doing a fantastic job at Shrewsbury, so that he can come in and have a stab at saving us from the drop, and preparing us for next season.

 

I'm not going to start digging out any fans who stay with this team until the inevitable end. But I'm done. The infighting will only get worse, as will the performances - difficult though that is to believe. We're absolutely done, certainly for this season and who knows for the longer term. I wouldn't take a season ticket for free next season. I'm sickened by what we've become. I'll find another way to spend my Saturdays, doing something that's actually enjoyable with my kids. This lot aren't worth the steam off my piss, let alone my money, time and support.

Not sure we can afford to keep him, I've tried to stay positive with regards David Hopkin but he really needs questioning when we go 3 - 2 down against ten men after 60 minutes and he doesn't go for it with 3 at the back, taking Chicksen off (that's not having a go at him) but I'd think a back 3 of Cadiss, NKP and O'Connor would be a better option than Chicksen NKP and O'Connor, bringing young Miller who is possibly the paciest forward we have, I just don't understand Hopkin's mentality, it didn't need Hopkin to be brave it was one of his few options given the score.

 

I think there was a merc broke down nr jct 16 with umpa lumpas running riot on the hard shoulder.

 

Idiotic posts like this are also the downfall of this club. How you can still defend Hopkin is baffling. The leagues in Scotland are dreadful, truly dreadful. Hopkin is the choice of Rahic, need I say any more?

 

People like Thornton @How and @EwanJM will still back Hopkin lol. its hilarious. it honestly is.

I think it's mostly frustration mate, seeing our club failing miserably again, but this time against 10 men can tip the more balance poster on this forum, just wait till @Fordy117 get home .

I see your point and I guess agree though we hadn't scored in going on 5 hours. I hoped for a positive day but the reality going in to today, was we was the second worst team in this league.

No we did that because we had good managers and good sides. The fans didn’t come into it

He should of gone months ago, but well done on making us a league two club. kangaroo.

 

Gonna need to win 6 of last 12....whatever way you look at it its not gonna happen.

There is only so much we could do now regarding working towards next season. I honestly thought that our Jan transfer business would have been working towards league 2 next season... but it doesn't look that way.

We are in for a long run in league 2 again... because this squad wouldn't even compete at that level.

As long as the appropriate changes are made in the summer, I will be happy. Too late in the day now to rescue this season.

 

Sadly your right; the thought of the "rump end" of League football has about as much appeal as a afternoon at Odsal with the Dulls! ? Still Solihull Moors and Forest Green should be something to "relish" .. you could do those places with Guiseley two year ago ! We are one dog awful season from leaving the Football League ! ? We need Steve Evans ; he knows how to "nasty his way" in League 2 !
