Said on the transfer thread earlier in the week I wouldn't be surprised to see Stubbs and Chapman go in Jan, neither seem liked by GA.

Pointon loaned out to the national league to play weekly maybe? After signing a new deal. Clear that GA doesn't seem to fancy wingers at the minute, doesn't feel fair to the lad to halt his progression if we aren't going to use him.

 

Hopefully, we tie Pointon to a new deal and then loan him out

 

I agree mate I can't see him not being in the squad because he's not good enough, he's proved in the past he can score and make chances for others, I would hope Alexander has taken him to one side and given the kid the reasons he's not making the squad at the moment.

I went to Lech Poznan v Warta Poznan this season which was weirdly a very friendly atmosphere compared to other Polish games I've been to see. I actually follow Arka Gdynia

Yep, Stubbs nearly went to Barnsley during the summer and hence why City brought Tomkinson in,
but still prefer Stubbs over Taylor who gets a spot on the bench tonight (someone super glue him to said bench)

I don't mind Taylor but wouldn't start him

 

Stubbs has been poor this season and with recent performances of the other 4 CBs it's right he's 5th choice which means he's unlikely to get on the bench. Pointon is unfortunate because of the chance in the formation has left no position for him unless he can show in training he can be effective as a number 8. At the moment I'm not sure who he gets onto the bench ahead of, his only 2 possibles are Derbyshire (which then means we don't have 2 natural strikers on the bench) or Osadebe (Alexander sees something in him so I don't think that's likely). The others are all probably certainties for the bench.

 

Would he want to sign a new deal if he gets offers from elsewhere?.

 

I've been to a Gdansk game but never lucky enough to see the Gdynia derby. Sopot was nice, pretty hot in the summer. I was lucky the other night as it was a rearranged fixture, funny that the Legia fans only arrived at half time.

 

Big opportunity tonight to climb a few places and go up to at least 10th place ahead of tomorrow's games and some tough games over Christmas/New Year.

 

I think if you are starting 2 up top you dont need 2 strikers on the bench.
I would have Pointon on the bench instead of Derbyshire every day of the week.
I just don’t see what Derbyshire offers at all.
