Enjoyed the game today not the result similar to a few games this season Luton Portsmouth for example we haven’t got what we deserved because we haven’t got the centre forward we need . I thought P OCConnor was excellent subdued one of the best centre forwards in the league a shame we haven’t seen him sooner. I also though Clarke was back to his best today.

 

Well I thought Bowyer would have been wiser to leave Clarke on and take Ball off who was clearly shattered. I thought Clarke linked up with Butterfield quite well, they read each other. I thought Paudie O'Connor had a good game. A couple of times he miscontrolled the ball and is still learning, but that aside I thought his decision making was good and he gave as good as he got with Marquis.
Overall, aside from the mistake from O'Donnell for the goal, I thought they played OK.
The real problem as ever is that we don't have anyone who can stick the ball in the net regularly. Shame Doyle's good effort didn't go in off the post.

 

Completely agree. I expect Bowyer to get playoffs as bare minimum, anything else will be classed as failure. Some of the guff i've read about expecting a mid table finish, its league 2 FFS. If we start off badly next season then i will be the first in the queue to have a go at Bowyer, but i'm hoping his own squad will have a winning mentality, some our fans could do well to have.

 

Well youve surpassed yourself with that comment about Chicksen being to blame for the Donny goal, I'd suggest as there was only NPK back when Donny won the ball to send Wilks away Chicksen was doing exatly what your critising him for not doing getting forward, have a watch and see him playing catch up behind NKP and the Donny scorer Wilks.

Although I'm delighted Stefan is staying onboard and financing our club going forward he is far from the innocent party to what had been going on at Valley Parade.
When I say that I'm not talking about the general day to day running of the club, Rahic was a very good at getting Stefan to believe him, but given the McCall situation after the Wembley final and Stuarts poor run that ultimately ended with his sacking Stefan was 100% behind Rahic decisions, I'm told.

 

So if you have a player returning from injury that probably has 30 minutes tops in them, do you?:

A. Play them from the start and sub them after 30 mins

B. Keep them on the bench as impact sub for the last half hour.

C. Just not have them in match squad at all.

there's nothing remotely enjoyable about going to watch Bradford City at the moment, and given that the team will probably not bother trying to win the game, I'll probably not bother trying to go and watch.

Not going to be able to make it this Saturday.

Work commitments due to the Grand National, so whilst I get all Saturday afternoons off when BCFC are at home, not got a chance this Saturday.

 

I use it as 90 minutes of therapy to get rid of emotions I didn't know I had and also swear words that I haven't used since upper school.

 

I'll be there, just praying for a win that could kick start a great escape, and yes I know we deserve to be where we are but the ref been kind to us would be nice too....

 

Definitely be there. Unfortunately cannot see anything other than defeat again. But the beauty of footbal is you never know, this might be the start of a perfectly timed great escape!!

 

Used to look forward to and really enjoy going to games but this season it's become like a chore, something you have to do, like going to work. But yes I'll be there.

I suspect the club owners over the years have taken the attitude that they do not own the stadium so will spend as little as possible on it, That of course is apart from any areas the owners may use, The disparage of facilities between the suites and the ordinary fan areas is huge, It seems to be an attitude of pay your money, Cheer the team and accept disgraceful facilities for the ordinary fan in the ground, It is almost as if the club does not think we are worth any more
