From a Club on the verge of Championship football to a complete laughing stock in the space of months is nothing short of a disgrace. The heart has been totally ripped out of a family Club which has descended into chaos and bewilderment, both on and off the pitch. We`ve been led down the garden path by imposters posing as Chairmen. We work hard during the week and deserve better than the calamity on show, it`s at a stage where i no longer look forward to the football on a weekend and i am thinking of better things to do after 50 years of supporting this Club. Shambles.

He was asked about Hopkin' appointment and said that as good as he might be he has come into a mess.
A mess created by owners who make "crazy" decisions.
Grayson walked away from a great club rather than take up the offer on the table.
I'm guessing he doesn't approve of the current approach like the majority of us.rmbenson007, Utters0, bantamdave41 and 9 others like this. -
Just when will those still trying to defend Rahic wake up and listen?rmbenson007, Utters0, bantamdave41 and 7 others like this. -
He was asked if DH can turn it around. He said he knows DH but the issue is the owner. Said it was crazy to sack a manager when 5th and then he said he knows Grayson really well and that Grayson has told him about some things behind the scenes which Goodman won’t repeat but said something like it was Grayson’s choice to walk away so ask yourself why would someone walk away from such a great club. He said it was the owners money so he has the right to make his own decisions about the club but the fact remains that the club is in a right mess. Something like that ish!

Don Goodman? nah, baseless rumours and conjecture and its all because Edin is German. if he was English we wouldn't have this. Banbrotam demands proof!!

His comment with regards owners and fans was very poignant.
Whilst Edin is back home he needs to sit down and have a honest appraisal of his time at our club and either lets the professionals run the club or get the hell out.CRASS, broadsword, vladimir and 2 others like this. -
But even with the Parky example, he was able to bring in some of his own players before the transfer window closed and was then able to use the loan market. He also convinced ML&JR to stop the development squad experiment and to have those funds transferred to his first team playing budget. And it was still touch and go. I suspect, no I know that Hopkin's hands are tied in two of the three areas which Parky was able to exploit and probably the third as well. Hopkin has no such luck. He is having to do whatever he can for the next 12 games with the cards he's already been dealt. What he is attempting to salvage is a damned more difficult than what Parky had to contend with. Just because ML & JR turned it around once and failed on another occasion is no guarantee that R&R will be able to repeat the success story.bantamdave41, Nick_W_, Onside and 2 others like this. -
He was bitter about Stuart's "sacking".

There won't be much said. Josh will give the usual media soundbites "new gaffers been great, we're buying into his ideas, we're working hard to get results. had injuries"
Don will ask about the owner, Josh will say he doesn't really know anything about that... the end. How, Utters0, The Granby Mullet and 1 other person like this. -

Fortunately the first season went beyond their wildest dreams, but Edin still wanted more input into football matters, most people would have been happy with a Wembley Final appearance, not Mr I know football, he thought he could do better and the first sign of a poor run sacked McCall, history is showing he didn't, but in finding that out he has put our club back at least 3 seasons.
I posted when Hopkin took the job he would pull the club around 10 or so games into his tenure I'm beginning to question my original comment, not because I don't think Hopkin can turn us around but there is something within the club that is deeper than new manager, new players, new CCO, that for me is the most worrying thing.Disillusioned of Bingley, Foghornleghorn, Idlebantam and 1 other person like this. -

As for Rahic having an office at the training ground. Why does he have an office there if it's not for "keeping an eye on things"?NorthernMonkey, Onside and Goose like this. -
