Do you subscribe to the T&A

This pensioner and friends of my age don't and haven't done for years, had a read of footy but the rest is similar to the forum same stuff regurgitated.
Boy racers, drugs, stabbings general violence, very little positivity to read with regards what used to be a great City.

 

Hasn't the news got out to Greetland yet.

 

Next you'll be telling me that Gerry Ingram will be dropped for next match, it's all gone wrong..!!

 

I sacked i follow a month ago, the press conference is now on West Yorkshire sport website and the one on I follow is a bland in house non controversial interview. They then started cutting off the post match talk after about 15 minutes. Match highlights now all on u tube anyway.

 

I've read the Telegraph and Argus since I could read it's not the best paper in the world now , but it used to be very good I get it delivered 5 for the price of 6 so it's ok , but the standard of reporting in it isn't very good apart from the Emma Clayton columns and the city reports but I will keep getting it because the only alternative is the Yorkshire Post, and all that has in its pages is Leeds, Leeds, Leeds!! . NO thank you!

 

As you say there are plenty of media outlets that give Bradford City updates,this forum being very good.

 

If your talking about adverts in newspapers, look at the Sunday papers 30% or more adverts. All papers have to have adverts to survive I dont think the T&A are any worse than any other regards having adverts in their publications

Used to wait for the Pink being delivered to the newsagents in Low Moor when I was a kid, my Dad used to give me enough money so I could by the Victor as well.
I think in those days a later edition of the T&A was printed as well. Now it is just one print that comes out early morning and is now printed in Oldham as far as I know.

 

I do buy it Bronco and will continue to do so as long as it is printed and I am drawing breath. Having said that I do agree with your comments.
Athough I try to be positive about Bradford, at 64 apart from North Parade and of course the Corn Dolly I find the center of Bradford a depressing place.

 

As you say waited outside paper shop till the T&A van stopped outside, handed a bundle of Pinks tied up with band to us we rushed them into the shop read the results if City had lost you looked for the Avenues result hoping they'd lost some how it made the weekend more bearable different times mate.
