In his shoes, I certainly would not. So self sufficiency comes from sponsorship, us fans and the squad has to be moulded accordingly.

 

Why should we believe anything will happen in January

Let's be honest we have a manger who hasn't been convincing in anything he's said all season....clearly he was told things that haven't and won't happen

 

I thought the idea was he could fund us to make us competitive in the Championship lmao if he's worried about how much he's spent so far he really doesn't have a tracking clue lol Championship clubs rack up tens of millions in debt ON PURPOSE

 

Adams deserves time but I don’t like this do or die mentality with him from fans. He’s not Jesus Christ. He’s done good to middling jobs where’s he’s been but he’s not some miracle worker where if we lose him we can not appoint a good manager again.
People said Peter Taylor was do or die. He wasn’t. Adams is not.
He has a hell of a job to do now and I hope he is cut out for it but he’s done some strange things so far and if the results continue he isn’t very endearing to the fans. It could turn sour

It was a tongue in cheek comment. We’ve got more chance of Bruce Forsyth, Robert the Bruce, Ken Bruce, Fiona Bruce, Bruce Banner or Bruce Lee becoming our next manager.

 

I never know on here, Chris Wilder was mentioned in the summer not long after he’d had a payout. Andy Carroll mentioned because he’s a free agent and would want to play.

 

I doubt Bruce Almighty would get this bunch winning

 

From Herr Rupp through to the playing staff there appears to be an air of non committal at the club...

 

The only time we've had genuine financial investment was during the Richmond, Rhodes time, and even then we hear the major benefactors were Dr Rhodes family.

 

So the one time since 1903 it happened we had some fun, but it didn't really end well did it. No wonder owners don't want to throw money at it.

 

Although he was a larger than life character he should have known better than to base our future income/destiny on something that had generated nothing.
