I wouldn’t say he doesn’t care, he’s just not going to put the club in massive debt again like Rahic did in 2018/19 when we had a 4.5 million budget and got relegated. I’d love him to donate a few million to us so we could have a big splash in the transfer market but very few owners do that. Rhodes and Lawn relied on cup runs which we haven’t had since 2015 and remember the first five years of Lawns tenure were pretty dreadful. It would be great if we got took over by a multi millionaire who would let us have a massive budget but there aren’t many around who are prepared to do that. I’ve heard supporters screaming for Mike Ashley to buy City but Newcastle fans wanted him out because he wasn’t prepared to put the club in massive debt chasing a dream. He would run City in exactly the way it’s run now with a player budget that’s not loss making.

 

Adams for me it is do or die, yes some of players already here yes some signed before arrival but then see the shit that also came in after you joined. Wanted small squad just like McCall and injuries and you knackered parky had big squad and was ok. Then again we had reserve team that got stopped by powers that be.

January is ages away, things need an immediate shake up as it could be far worse by then.

 

We are going to have to up our playing budged by at least 25% if we are going to drastically improve.
January is a notoriously difficult time to sign players of quality and Adams has now put his neck on the line tonight.
His interview tonight was very strange. Didn’t really answer anything and sounded completely fed up. He’s normally got some fire in his belly but he appears to have lost that tonight.

 

I thought the idea was he could fund us to make us competitive in the Championship lmao if he's worried about how much he's spent so far he really doesn't have a tracking clue lol Championship clubs rack up tens of millions in debt ON PURPOSE

 

Adams deserves time but I don’t like this do or die mentality with him from fans. He’s not Jesus Christ. He’s done good to middling jobs where’s he’s been but he’s not some miracle worker where if we lose him we can not appoint a good manager again.
