I doubt he's put 500k cash in ... He's probably agreed to raise the budget out of the clubs finances

Downsize when you can for success. Bizarre approach. Are you Gerald Ratner in disguise?

This is the same @Park bantam@Park bantam who said if the worst happens and we go down to the National league his support would end so his loyalty is not all he’s making it out to be.
He’s a City supporter-but only if we are in the EFL.

So you're openly saying that in your opinion, Keefly has had his pants pulled down by the club, i.e. implying that he has been hoodwinked, ripped off and had the urine extracted from him........the further inference in that then being that ALL season ticket holders have as well!!

You're currently advocating that supporters should renew and they aren't 'loyal' if they don't but clearly think everyone's a mug for doing it last year!! Fantastic rationale that....Very strange, very strange.....

If rupp is indeed ready to invest in the infrastructure then that's a good thing, but actions speak far louder than words we've all heard before. And in terms of sparks and the commercial side, I feel the credit he gets takes away from the people actually dealing with the commercial side, Davide longo and his team are more likely to be responsible for that. An inexperienced CEO and no plan are what are crippling is alongside the disinterested owner.

They spent 5 years in the National League and this is their 11th season in League 2. They've also stuck with a manager for 3.5 seasons despite finishes of 16th, 7th and 8th. Do people really think we would stick with Alexander or any other manager with results like that?

Those boycotting for the sake of it in reality will be few and far between. Those pi$$ed off with the club, recruitment, CEO and performances on the pitch will be in the thousands. You can stick your head in the sand but this club is on a downward spiral.

    One. More. Season.

Pretty much everything else stayed the same, the team, etc. It wasn't until the following summer that Edin though he was was playing football manager.

Parky's judgement was spot on, get out the door asap.

In your opinion when do you think Edin and Rupp started to change the course of the club to "their" vision. It's wasn't the first year, I'm actually sure that Rhodes stayed on in that year as part of the transition. I mean maybe he suggested Sparks to make him look better. I remember the first thing Sparks did was to extend McCall's contract before sacking him shortly afterwards.

I'd buy a ST if we had ownership and leadership at the club had credibility, ambition, willingness and the means to invest, and a plan that could be bought into. Regardless of the level.

Someone people have to make a serious choice about attending football games. People being priced out because they have financial commitments elsewhere doesn't make the club smaller. You have to create a balance between the two.

15,000 paying £200 is better than 10,000 paying £300. Yes the figures for both are the same but with 15,000 in the ground you sell more food, drinks, merchandise, etc, it's more appealing to sponsors, etc.

Still this all means nothing if the product people are going to watch is utter bilge.

We are struggling because of the regime not the supporters.
The product they are selling is already dire.

Just ask the thousands and thousands who have stopped going how they are managing to fill their time on a match day.

That can't be true. Ducky the Daz Man has already posted that Sparks won't be here after Monday! ;)

On a serious note, I could imagine that being a reasonable working assumption for the club. ST prices increased by 25% or so. Number of STs sold reduced by a third. Some impact on the club's income especially with any knock-on effect on kiosk sales, sponsorship etc but the club will know whether or not that is manageable and consistent with our sustainability ethos. It doesn't resolve the far more important question of the club's leadership but it may just create a bit of breathing space from Sparks' perspective. Hopefully the protest organised by the ISG will help to resolve that aspect.
