Maybe we should thank the tw@t on Twitter, I know he’s enjoying himself on there! I never understand the let’s make it hard for the opposition mentality, if I were a player it would just motivate me more. I always think of Kevin Pieterson when he batted in South Africa, the reception he got seemed to add 50 to his score.

 

Many many years ago I was a guest at Huddersfield - don't ask. I think Malcolm Macdonald was acting as corporate ambassador. He took us on a bit of a tour before the game. I remember him saying that they always turned the heating off in the away teams dressing room, and the balls they gave them for the pre match warm up - some were under inflated, some were over inflated and some had been soaking in the bath overnight.

I believe the new team dug outs are electrically heated surely we wouldn't have problems with the away teams heated seats..........would we .
Didn't Arsenal use the Midland Hotel before our Capital One Cup game and came to Valley Parade in their kit ?.

Middlesborough, second leg of the playoffs 87- 88 nearly season. May , lovely warm day in the middle of a dry spell.
We had beaten them 3 times already and they new we would football them to death, so they watered the Ayrsome park pitch all week and trained on it. Like a ploughed field and the ball would not run properly. Hence we lost over 2 legs , resulting in the loss of 2 of the mainstays of the team in M'call and Hendrie.

 

Broncs, the away dug out seats are not heated.

 

Are we allowed to pipe iced water through them on cold match days and heated on warm.
