Ok so after pretty much skimming over comments above I'd say it's pretty clear we're all a bit pi$$ed at having a weekend off City, just to add I've got tickets for this and the rearrangement being midweek will make it a nightmare for me, and despite the fact I fully agree with the many saying we should all boycott get a refund and watch on Ifollow instead, but I've no doubt my young son will apply the pressure for us to go which I will easily cave in to and pull the required strings at work. When my young lad comes calling to go watch City who was born in Blackburn (My wifes a Blackburner) with basically no affiliation to City apart from through me, and we now live in Cliviger/Burnley (10mins from Turfmoor where all his college friends go so he could easily fall in line) the added non sensenceical enthusiasm he piles on top of my ingrained blind faith is way too much to resist.
Despite this let's try pull a positive out of this, fingers crossed we get a few results go our way and we end the weekend not much worse off, and we have a game in hand. If by some miracle the following week this could be paired up with us beating Grimsby and another couple of other results going in our favour then the position we'd be in could be great. Obviously a lot of ifs and buts involved but if the right side of the coin flip lands favourably then it may end up as an advantage, and that's not even factoring in current injuries that should then be available for the rescheduled fixture.

If nothing else we may have the likes of Derbyshire, Osadebe, Nevers, Walker available by the time it's rearranged that got to be a plus.

Agreed, my long drivelled out post just prior to yours I mentioned the added bonus of current injured players returned by then, as I said previously from us fans point of view it's totally infuriating, but we are where we are and if we somehow get the rub of the green it could become a huge advantage in the long run.

Odds on Orient finishing 4th this season?

They need to win today, they could yet get swallowed up by the chasers...

Stockport have had an extra man since the first minute but have looked very ordinary as have Carlisle while flicking between the two games.

If we had played and it’s a big if we had won we would be within 3 points of Stevenage so the chance is still there but the Play offs are more likely

Ended up nicking yet another draw...

Tell you what, our result against them now looks more average than poor... Still disappointing though given the context.

We've become draw specialists at just the wrong time Park, I can't see it. I think we'll flirt with the idea of nearly getting into the top three, but we've still got too many passengers and bottlers.

I'd love to be wrong as the play offs are a bloody nightmare.

Personally I think the manager has got to take the reins off a bit more. A point I think Morais who I think talks a lot of sense made post match last week

I disagree for one main reason.

We are so easy to counter when we're attacking, and concede the silliest goals at times when we're overloaded. The fact we aren't conceding more is because we're so conservative.

I'm not convinced going more gung ho would actually benefit us, as much as I like the sentiment.

The goal routine just feels like a copycat, I agree. It's overused, and feels like we're doing it for the sake of it. I don't mind playing out from the back, but football is about balance.

I think a major problem with asking for a more attaching approach is the very obvious fact we have only one goalscorer.

Cook. Banks and Walker every 15 games, and Smallwood every 20.

There's no point getting the ball to Gilliead, Costelloe, Chapman or Clayton in attacking situations. None of them pose the slightest threat.

If someone was going to benefit from a more attaching approach, I'm not sure I see who that is tbh.

Unless, a more attacking approach would ensure more people in the box and increase the goal stats for the players you mention?

Possibly not but the squad is what it is and given the amount of draws, we do probably need a slight shift in something.

Not sure Dave. I listened to their managers pre-match interview, said they had a few knocks, but would not name anyone.
I suspect he was injured, as they had just come off a 10 day lay off.
