I had to go into the centre otherwise I wouldn't have bothered, there are people wandering round here who clearly either don't know to stay at home, too thick to understand or just plain selfish. Mixed messages don't help, asking people to self isolate but some shops are open, as is the case in the Broadway. Either it's that serious everywhere has to shut or it isn't. If it's that serious then supermarkets should have to shut to the public and a protected delivery service be put in place. Even with the NHS, just been talking to a mate whose wife is a district nurse. Some members of staff in regular contact with the public are being measured for hazmat suits but some aren't. If staff on the front line don't know what's going on what chance have the rest of us got.

Just watching Sky News and they're interviewing Gary Neville. He's turned over the 2 hotels he co-owns in Manchester to use as Hospital facilities. They have 176 rooms. 35 are already being used to house patients and by the end of Weds they expect to be full. We haven't even really started, and the NHS is already oversubscribed in some areas.

I went into Leeds centre this morning (to pick up some new laptops for home working) and it was like a scene from 28 days later. Hardly anyone on the streets at all. I spoke with an Italian supplier this morning. His factory is shutting down on wednesday, initially ttil 3rd April. He told me to take care. The opinion in Italy is that the UK aren't taking this seriously enough

 

Isn't Corbyn about 70 years old, he should have been self-isolating for the next 3 months instead of going to the HOC.

Bad example to set but i bet he is in better health than most 70 year olds.
