On a plus note the roads were empty and a joy to be driving on, silver linings and all that.

 

Funnily enough, I thought the opposite. I was surprised how busy the roads have been this week. Either most people in our area are still working, or they are driving up and down looking for loo rolls and Calpol

 

Well the list of key workers has finally been released and it is a lot wider than first rumoured.

Begs the question, whats the point in closing. I work in the financial sector so collesgues were surprised to learn our profession is classed as key worker. However, we are so busy there is unlimited overtime available at the moment

 

Ive just driven to town from Queensbury and back in less time than it would take to drive one way at the same time a few weeks back. Its a strange, almost apocalyptic feeling when everywhere is dead.
