Lot of selfish folk about in my opinion, is the stock piling really essential? I hope some provision has been made to make sure product availability for those who are in desperate need can get hold of what they need. I heard people are panic buying baby milk??? It's about as essential as they come.

 

I understand what you are saying, but I think you are being quite generous to the folk that go out and do this. Maybe i’m over-estimating people’s own ability to make reasoned and sensible judgememts over this, and have a degree of empathy to other people. I tell you what, it shows how knackered we’d be if something really really serious happened.

At Morrisons petrol station just now, watched a guy fill up his car the line up 6 petrol cans to fill.
Inside Morrisons; no bread, flour, pasta, potatoes didn't bother going down the household aisle. LUNACY!!!

Agree, we will not starve, I always keep dry goods and tins in the cupboard frozen veg etc., so you can aways make some soup.

If you've high blood pressure, or hypertension these are the most underlying conditions that put people at risk.

Seems this virus uses the same receptor as the blood pressure drugs.

Smokers are in trouble also in this age group.

It seems people could carry on as normal but the risks to 70 plus are extremely high.
