Seen Lincoln a few times & think they'll do well in L1. Nothing new at all, big physical players winning challenges with a couple of creative types feeding off, l watched them grind down Morecambe just after Xmas and was sure they'd go up. Like a machine, giving nothing to the oppo, we'll have to be like that.

We messed up with our preseason, so did Scunthorpe, the parallel is there for all to see. Identical fares, in all likelihood, with both going down despite trying numerous things to turn it round.

Next season will be won or lost come August. Our only chance is to install a straight forward blue print for out working other teams

Caddis loses his man for first I think? Too easy. No pressure on ball in midfield and he has all the time in the world to pick his pass.

Similar for second, Wood loses his man and it’s a free shot on goal. I don’t get the love in for wood. He’s poor in my eyes. Two very bad left backs we have. If only woods had stayed fit

 

Why no pressure in midfield?? WOTP saying Josh Wright put in a performance? Doesn’t sound like it to me, I listened on the radio, so not always an accurate assessment.

 

Wright looked very leggy for their second goal but it’s limited highlights I’ve seen. Maybe he’s struggling with missing 5 months of the season?

Not been impressed with butterfield personally. For all his experience when he came.

 

Ok, might watch the ‘highlights’ later through gritted teeth.

 

I am sure Wright is giving his all now with his future in the air. As the article says he should have been doing it earlier when it might have meant something

 

Same goes for Scannell his first half performance was quite good (according to the Pulse)

Different with Scannell he would have been good for us without his injury and I hope he stays because he would be outstanding in league two
