    So if I started a shop and called it JOHN LEWIS or SAINSBURY’S these particular companies would be ok with it.

    A cease and desist letter is normally my first course of action(ask @zico@zico if I’m joking)
    Any further non compliance will result in the full weight of my legal team being sent northward.

    It’s my first proper “contribution” to the thread that resulted in ppd numbers very rarely seen and I don’t think people should be able to just piggyback on someone else’s brilliant idea.
    If that’s a crime then lock me up.

    Let me say that your CCs (countdown contributions) prior to #gtf have all been of value (of a sort).

    Therefore I can now admit that I, for one, was slightly disappointed that we weren't treated to any Tenerifian bin content whatsoever. It won't only have been me.

    A bit of air conditioning unit content would have added a bit of sunshine to our storm-swept lives too.

    It's all about balance.

    Surely anything produced as part of Countdown is copyright and trademark of the Countdown committee, just like if you come up with something at work the intellectual property would belong to them

    That seems a fair criticism but in my defence I put my heart and soul in to 9 days of “Gtf”
    It literally filled most of my waking hours .
    By the end even my kids were taking the piss out of my every time I disappeared to take my pictures.
    “Ooh dads doing his secret ice cream blog again”
    Tbh other content was the furthest thing from my mind.
    It’s something I now accept was a bit lax but tomorrow’s bin day in HD6 and I realise I need to get back to the nuts and bolts of everyday countdowning.
