@Hoochy-Min@Hoochy-Min what's the midge situation where you are? Mrs H is obsessed about the at the moment.

Buy a midge net/hat to have in case they are a problem. And they only are if you are stood stil or in one area, and there is no breeze. You can buy smidge repellent or jungle formula too, but really it is down to the weather - no wind, damp / just after rain and in areas with lots of trees etc you might get midged. But generally, keep moving and you are ok. They might not be about if it's breezy anyway, they aren't out all the time.

You won't win a fashion award but i have some of these, brilliant, they fold away into a small round pouch and then pop up when you open them. But if fishing you aren't moving as much or quickly, like walking or running / cycling. The other good thing to try if sitting out are the Mozkil green burning coils - they sit on a holder and give off smoke when you light them, they work pretty well when camping. Always have them.

The breeze is your friend where these buggers are concerned. In a morning/evening, if it's damp out, no wind, it's a brave man that ventures forth unprepared!! You'll be fine.

Aye. I didn't believe my mate so he took me to see it mid-swill.

I'd probably be a bit more vocal about the ethics of keeping an alligator in a Shipley shop now, but I was young and drunk.
