well, the type I’m on about normally operate via motion sensors and photocell like security lights, obviously by nature they are not on all the time, just activated as you approach etc. I have a friend who fitted some on his site when he lived in a caravan and was building, he had a shed with a loo and shower and used wee LED solar floodlights, he said they were really good, and well bright enough and I think he still has them. As I say, just a suggestion, thE SIL’s partner bought some from Dobbies to light up the bit where his bins are, it’s a new build and there was only lights by the front and back door, he says it works fine.

I've got a couple of folk lined up for quotes so will deffo mention these. If we did go for these we'd still need to 'eliminate' what's in situ. They cost us a small fortune.

Oh, and I never miss a bin reference.
