    Call from hospital today with a date for operation on my ear in 4 weeks, which I declined.
    Didn't expect to hear from them this soon. It's a dreadful experience and recovery. Advised that I will only be offered 1 more date.

    I pleaded for it to not be this year.
    Apparently I'm on the "long waiting list"
    Only had the consultation June, on crutches. Always hear about many waiting much longer for operations.

    Just in from a late tea. Long long day. Nice result for Rennes.

    harry potter studios was great, managed to just about avoid a remortgage in the shop. Kids really enjoyed it.

    meal was great again. One recommended off a page the mrs frequents for gluten free options. Cotto Italian restaurant in Waterloo, owner had the Napoli game on, proper italian commentary. I had homemade ravioli with crab and lobster filling. Mrs has a gluten free seafood pizza with squid, whole langoustines etc superb.

    we went in about 3:15 and left at 7pm but you probably could take longer tbh (had to re-arrange our meal to 9, from 7). Shop is expensive, but that’s just me! Kind of expected. Daughter got a nice Hufflepuff bobble hat for a tenner, which was good value, plus some other bits n bobs but both kids really enjoyed it, we did as well. Bus was easy to get straight from station too.
