Humour me please. Couple of pics from today.
One is my old Corps memorial and the other is the "Shot at Dawn memorial.

 

Kyle of Lochalsh. On way back from Inverness with my new glasses and fish for the lad’s aquarium. I heard our equaliser announced on radio 5 before I lost signal at Dundeggan (we’re not worthy of full BBC radio coverage up here). Too scared to check the final score. Hearts Ultras were loitering at Inverness train station en route to Dingwall. Sure the Young Stags will have had them on their toes….

yeah, cos there’s loads of straight roads here. The highlands is famous for its Roman Roads.

Cluanie Dam is so low you can see the two chimneys of an old building that made way for the valley to be flooded when it was dammed, just popping out above the loch surface. Never seen them before. Bizarre sight, you can see some if the old road too and some wee hump back stone bridges.
