Got my call, he was checking if I'd be in the ground for Saturday, and whether I could get down to Crawley or not. Apparently the new analysts correlated my attendance with results so far this season and are desperate to get back to winning ways.

I've said I'll think about it.

 

You need to tell me what it is first, otherwise the game doesn't work.

 

I've just realised that we've probably invented an Only Connect round with this.

 

They need goals. And I’m clearly a goalscorer. The fact I am partial to a sublime assist or two, well that’s just a bonus. If they had me, your attendance wouldn’t be necessary. Though i reckon you’d go, hoping I’ll sign your programme or maybe you’ll get a cheeky embrace as I round the keeper for my hat-trick and celebrate with the fans.
