1 week ago my tyre broke in Perth so I had a night in a hotel there. My dating app reset my location and I got chatting to a local lady. Been chatting all week, getting on famously. Typical that someone decent lives 3 hours away. More grump.

aye, try to turn it into a positive. @Hoochy-Min my mrs lived in Inverness when we met, so it can work, that’s 3.5 hrs away, Ok not ideal and different circumstances to me at that time (no kids, for one) but if you get on very well? Hope it works out.

Bit disappointed there were no “ it’s a marathon not a sprint” or “ be nice to people on the way up as you’ll meet them on the way down” comments.
I know full well there will be ups and downs as the season goes on but I’m going to wring out every ounce of gloating I can while I’m in the almost stratospheric position of (joint) THIRD position as
I’m fully aware what will happen as the season goes on and I incur injuries and suspensions.
This will inevitably lead to a plummet down the league and a final league placing of lower bottom half.This in itself will obviously result in relentless pi$$ taking and ridicule so I’m afraid you best get used to it because until that happens my head is only going to get bigger.

 

I'll see what happens.
