So, my best mate is doing the Land's End to John O'Groat's cycle ride in a couple of weeks.

If anyone fancies sponsoring him, in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust, that would be great. I don't normally post this sort of stuff, but he is training phenomenally hard to do this. As a bit of background, his girlfriend died from cancer just over twenty years ago when she was only twenty four.

My “team” have decided that as I had to go out by myself for a couple of hours in the wet this aft and we don’t have a massive amount to do tonight that I can stay at the house while they go do the job.
It’s either sympathy for my elderly aching bones or an appreciation of my “leadership” qualities that make our days away so enjoyable.

Got an email from City offering to sell me my old seat in Block D for a tenner. I told them it was broken two seasons ago but it was never repaired. So I used to sit in the empty spare next to mine. Messaged back to say they can keep the piece of junk.

 

I'm struggling to visualise you as a runner. It's going to be a while before I can accept it happens.

It’s alright replacing the seats in the main stand but hope they get round to doing the same in the lower kop soon enough. Mines corroding and I leave every home game with white crap all over my coat
