Funding for my post has run out, so it's classed as redundancy as I've worked there for over four years and am therefore classed as a full-time employee. This entitles me to a redundancy payment and also a pension. In real terms it's a retirement as I turn 70 in October. Already had two offers of employment, but probably need to call it a day while I've still got all my faculties. Bizarrley, current employer asked me if I would consider redeployment to the Cleansing Dept! Just think, all those bins. I politely declined.

Surprising twist at the dental clinic. We're leaving the root in, 70% chance no further problems from it. Good enough odds for me. He did offer to cut into the gum and chip away the bone to get the root out. I politely declined.
