    I've been a birder for over 50 years. Don't do twitching (racing around to see "rarities") I have done it many years age, I have driven to Dorset and back from Selby in a day to see a single bird!

    Get over 50 birds every morning in the garden. Wife is bird mad. Occasionally a kestrel swoops in and helps himself. Noticed a rat the other day. I’m feeding him separately.
