    Good morning.

    Last day of shift work today. Going onto day shifts next week. I’ve been on shift work for 14 years, so it will be a little weird. Looking forward to it though.

    No win situation really. Just look at Scotland, teachers predicted grades way above what would normally happen, so either this year of students are unusually bright or teachers have got it wrong.

    what they should have done is looked at what teachers/schools had predicted previously and their actual results and used that stat to standardise the results

    Yeah, there's no ideal solution, but you'd hope the government might have had a definitive strategy earlier than the day before exam results.

    That said, I know of one teacher who's fine with her students' results.
