    A few folk in the Countdowners Whatsapp group have messaged me to ask for an Electricity Meter update. It is, understandably, a gripping subject.

    Well, my mate Mr Ombudsman has got involved and cages have been rattled. 90 quid as a 'sorry for taking ages' sweetener has been offered while the company responsible for the other meter is contacted.

    I hope that slakes your metergate thirst for now.
