    Had a visit at work from Council Wardens asking why we weren’t enforcing face masks.

    told them it was due to government telling us not to and to leave it to the police.

    It is a nightmare.

    I went out on my bike last night and forgot a face mask. They wouldn’t let me in the shop (Booths Supermarket) without one and they didn’t have one to buy. Had to go to M and S to buy a mask before buying food.

    Think Booths are one of a few that are enforcing it, but think that is due to their locations.

    I’m sure you can imagine the response some stores would get. When I worked at Tesco it was hard enough enforcing the rule that you were not allowed in bare chested

    I can imagine.

    Tbh I've mainly gone to Booths and M and S for food recently because they tend not to get kn0bheads in them.

    Our local Asda is awful.
