    It is.

    Honestly, it is very demoralising knowing the kids, how motivated they can be in the classroom and then seeing them doing nothing. I get it, just doing stuff on an ipad is actually very dry in comparison to being in a classroom with a much richer environment.

    The repercussions of this pandemic will be very long and far-reaching. From the start I have said the actual deaths from the virus will be far outweighed by the damage to society as a whole. I hope I am wrong.

    Yeah, I get it. We are extremely fortunate that the school send through projects for the kids to do, make posters, draw, create ... yeah there’s the boring maths stuff ... but the kids love it when the teacher sets them a science project etc.
    You are right, there’s no substitute for school - I can see that my kids are suffering socially, but got to keep going.

    Have a check with the householder and see if they've had someone round who took 50 minutes of their lunchtime break to cook beans on toast. We'll all know the culprit.
