    just checked XCWeather (the choice of the discerning amateur meteorologist) and it looks dry and sunny well into late next week, only tomorrow looks wet, flurry of snow early hours of monday. The night owls will catch that (always knew there was a purpose to it all). There’ll be hose pipe bans, next!!

    it’s been glorious for weeks now. Rivers are but a trickle. Occasional burns etc totally dried up.
