    Pretty grotty at my work this week. We're coming to the contract's end (privatised wing of former council service) & although the council want to renew they're cutting the value again by a significant wedge.

    The email came yesterday, mate was given notice today.

    Not good time to be contracted to the council. T&A had a story today about how income from parking and fines had dropped by almost 95%

    That's a bit crap isn't it. Seems to be lots of businesses wanting to do stuff but with the lockdown they have no money. I think the pressure is really going to come on the government next week to get a plan together.

    We knew this renewal was coming regardless of the covid stuff, but not how it would look, & it's a bigger cut than expected. There's hardly anyone left as it is!

    Morrisons done and thought I’d have a drive to put boy to sleep for his nap. Fell asleep as we were almost home so now sat outside in the car looking dodgy
