    Deputy chief medical woman has just said the lockdown could be 2-3 months with reviews every three weeks. Possibly going on for six months

    Cracking walk down the cliff (rope and chain sections it’s pretty steep). Like land that time forgot. Circled by a sea eagle at one point eyeing up the kids or probably the dog russell. Disturbed about 30 seals basking on some rocks think they were pissed off tbh. Their expression was similar to mine after playing doodle cricket.

    Think it was always likely with 3 weekly reviews mentioned from the start
    At least the better weather (I hope) is coming be able to get the garden done
    Always fancied the summer off but in different circumstances
    May have to get the dog I thought about for retirement

    with my ed stafford-like stalking skills, i could have got right up and high fived their flipper, but instead I gave that a miss given the gravity of the social / mammal distancing protocol in place at present.

    Fishing officially cancelled up here now. Obviously gutted but fair enough, everyone is having things they enjoy stopped. Be all the more enjoyable when it re starts (just as season ends!)

    One of last seasons rainbow trout and pea risotto tonight.

    Cancelled down here last Tuesday which is gutting was looking forward to the summer at lakeside renewed all my memberships too Hope the club spends it wisely
    Otters a big problem on the complex with no one there they will be having a field day
    Enjoy the trout (grilled with almonds I hope) and pea risotto
