    Staying at home from now. Having diabetes puts me in a higher risk category. Feel really guilty about leaving others in school to carry on.

    Nope. My work is still doing nothing, everyone in, don’t trust anyone to work from home. Usual production meetings still going ahead at 9-15 and 2-15. Beggars belief.

    Our office is open but WFH is the default. I will go in a couple of times a week and it is very low risk with only about 10-20% in so social distancing is easy. Gives me a break from my wife and offspring too so less likely to kill each other

    Amazing rescue of that russian cargo ship that lost power through kylerhea narrows (between skye and the mainland). Two lifeboats managed to steady it against the 8 knot tide that flows through the narrows, as their anchor was failing to hold. Crew were airlifted away safely.

    They've been a bit slower up here deciding who key workers are. The news came out on Friday. There will be central hubs for key worker children but the locations are still not decided. Up until yesterday afternoon we (the teachers, not the kids) were all supposed to go in to school this morning which I was really uncomfortable with. Thankfully the news came through that we should work from home.

    I’m happy to work if they follow the rules and advice, I can’t work from home, but others can. Anyway, I declined to do the meetings and sent an email to my director about what I think, to be fair to him, he stopped all production meetings till further notice almost straight away. Hopefully he’s putting other procedures in place.

    seems strange that they are leaving it to each council.
    But Nicola S yesterday was saying the number of places were limited rather than down here where it seems unlimited if your firm thinks you are key..
    Seems as though they are not as organised up there for it, or are just hoping that most parents keep them at home.

    There's only 3 categories of key workers up here and the places are limited so I presume the higher category you are, the more likely you are to get child care.
