    Cheers. That sounds good.

    No way I'd ever be crazy enough to attempt what he does in the book. But there are some good ideas for places to visit and cycle, especially along old railway lines that have been converted to cycling /walking paths.

    Bagged up today. Loads of big mackerel, some nice pollock one of which was a pb for me, 12lb. Pic to follow. Also saw an otter, porpoise and a load of dolphins. Magic, FIL came out with us, might have re-kindled his fishing bug today. Now begins the fish cleaning process, divvied out a load to neighbours and such, done my good deed for the yr.

    The staff never warmed to his strict disciplinarianisms. Keeping them locked up in the canteen at lunchtime and not allowing them to wander round Stevenage. Denying them the right for nooky the night before work.
