Content that days off work were made for.

 

Had to run the gauntlet today. Realised I had to walk past an Openreach van parked up with the employee mooching around in the back.

 

Must have been a new starter.

In this weather all employees with any decent amount of service are sat in the front,on their phones,looking at some fatuous football forums with the heater on full blast.

There’s always a cluster of them outside the Crosshills telephone exchange. Wouldn’t be surprised if there was a snooker table in there.

 

To the untrained eye, it looked like he was cutting cable with very little concern for H&S guidelines.

 

In this weather I’d be disappointed if there wasn’t a cluster of vans at every telephone exchange.


The only 2 exchanges with a snooker table in are Halifax and the massive Bradford exchange on Sharpe street at the bottom of Manchester road.

 

Last match of the first round of AFCON fixtures tonight - DRC v Zambia, should be fairly equal, could be a good game or terrible. Who knows!

You should do what lots of people do and post the pictures on X with the sole intention of getting somebody in trouble.

It’s always heartening to see “whiter than white” members of the public ready to grass on people working in public for not being squeaky clean.
