Just got in from my overnighter bit chilly in the early hours but still pleasant lots of wildlife on the move
Banked a couple 12lb ghostie and 18lb mirror so a decent session
Off to bed now for an hour or so can't take the pace these days

sounds like a great evening / overnighter Steve. A couple of nice fish by the sounds of it.

the club have cut back the number of comps but I think they are re-instating an evening comp in late June that I’ll fish. The main pairs series my partner is away off Skye for a year and the lad I fished with yesterday can’t make the next heat so I’ll probably do that evening one and maybe the final one. It’s always a good laugh, at one point yesterday we were almost bumping into each other as four boats jockeyed for drifts into the creek. I was on the outboard so you are playing a pee’d off rainbow while drifting perilously close to the rocky shore as it was quite rough yesterday at the bottom of the wind. Who says blokes can’t multitask?! Took the biscuit when one boat cut in on our drift, i was going to put a cone head salmon fly on and lob it at them
