I've been to Stockport quite a bit over the years, not always watching City. I used to come here on a Friday night when I was at Uni 89-92.

A ex-work colleague's entire family are Stockport fans. His grandad,, sadly no longer with us, was their captain in the early 50s. He literally lived in the next street to the ground and had done for forty years. On match days the family would go round for 12. The fridge would be full of beers and everyone would get pleasantly drunk pre-match. Good memories.

My mate, as he was a contrary chap, was a Gillingham fan just to be different. I have Gillingham stories as well...
