I'm not sure I'd necessarily agree Kev. I thought Jacobs was excellent at times going forward and given the level he played at I'd have to put Jacobs ahead of Meredith.

 

A difficult call for sure Dave. Yes agree it was a different level though, which normally swings it for me.

 

Jakes gets my vote. Meredith had a fantastic engine but his marauding runs were often let down by a poor cross. However his attacking runs also tended to overshadow what a very good defender he was.
Also let's not forget the victory away at Wigan under McCall when Luke Hendrie put in a fine performance at LB..

I liked Connor Wood and surprised he’s not got a L2 or National League club.

 

He’s doing quite well down at Sports, I’d imagine he’ll step up to the national league premier at the end of his contract

 

Connor Wood is now part of the "baller league". The 6 a side thing Sky made where some ex pros, youtube folk and celebs manage a team. He's on John Terry's squad
