Agree, Gibson isn't really a natural wide player, even his old fella admits he prefers a central role ideally behind a front two. Not sure he's good enough to do the role but he does look better more infield. Note sure either how Bowyer will play him now there are a lot more options on board.

 

Fans were moaning about the Scannell leaving and that it would be an issue if we didn't replace him, we have and fans are still moaning!!

 

Had Bowyer brought in one particular type of player i don't think there would have been much apathy. I think the signing of Anderson and Devine and the ineffectiveness of Akpan will count against him if that position continues to blight us.

Its not, it IS the reason people have questioned the transfer window, that and what seems too many options now for the same positions. Scannell has gone and replacements for his role have been signed, no one has disputed that.

I disagree I think that our midfield wonders everywhere when the opposing team pass the ball around. None of them seem to know what their job is and they end up just going round in circles Our defence has been solid but you can’t rely on the defence to be solid all season we need a midfield that’s going to do a job defensively as well

 

I was specifically referring to our defence not midfield.
