He has no answers because he is clueless don’t know where he got he coaching badges from but playing championship manager on a computer doesn’t count

 

When SM said that in an interview that was what sealed it for me that he had to go and the same for MC

 

He should do the honourable thing and resign. No one would blame him and he might retain a little bit of respect if he did.

His interview after the game was ridiculous.

'Maybe Tuesday took more out of the players than we thought'.

Tuesday wasn't a game that went to extra time. It wasn't an emotionally draining game. It wasn't a fast paced game. It was a dull, flat and disjointed game. A ridiculous comment.

'Wycombe sat off us at the start and almost encouraged us to play out from the back.'

Huh? We barely had a kick for 20 mins. Their goal had been coming a while and there was only 1 team on the front foot.

He's clueless. Completely clueless.

 

The guy is a total prick - IMO he hasn’t got any respect from the players or the fans.

Do us a favor Collins and take your posh arse out of our club.

 

Considering Wycombe played at Plymouth Tuesday and us today surely they should be the ones tired not a team who played 2 home games. They wanted it more we were awful. Collins is out of his depth but I will cut him some slack why because no one else would take the job and he was given it. Those above are to blame.

 

Joey Barton will murder Collins next week. Say what you want about Barton, but at least he has passion and balls, unlike this tool that we have in our dug-out.
Prepare for the worst, Madden, Evans & Co are going to have a field day folks.

Getting away from attacking Collins personally. I tried my best to listen and understand how he saw the Game. ? Alas his explaining seemed to centre on setting aside the tactics ? and making it about not enough of the players "wanting it enough". He sites Colville as the "standard bearer" for what he expects from players who go out there for City.

So why dont the players want it enough ? If you don't want it enough now ! Having just pulled on a shirt for a new club ? When will you darn well want it ? If the don't want it enough he can change that can't he ? He can change it by sending them out well drilled and organised and with the right message ringing in their ears. My opinion is that even now he's lost that dressing room. Footballers easily suss when the Manager/Coach is not up to it and they stop playing for him and the whole thing falls apart.

What does Collins think it's about ? if it's not about formations (last week) and tactics this ? He stood there for 90 minutes hands in pockets / arms folded and failed abjectly to send out any urgency or passion to the players. ? He referred on more than one occasion to Abbott who should be made to sit up in the stand ! It really irritates me to see Abbott on the touchline as it s clear that his influence is all over this shambles.

A decision has to be made about continuing to let this meander on into weeks - months or act now and admit that this "inexperienced" set up in charge of a largely inexperience group of players is a recipe for a relegation struggle. It's only going to get worse.

I wanted to give him some time and clearly he thinks a good game but can't get that into the players. And at this early stage of the season thats very worrying.

 

You know, that is a really poor way to talk of another person.

It's football. A game. Not life and death.

So much a standard bearer he wasn’t even in the starting 11!!

 

Not usually one to call for managers heads so early. But if we had Parkinson, Steve Evans or Stuart in charge of the squad would we be seeing this level of performance, and no is the answer. We’ve brought in some decent players over the summer although still need a few more, but we have no plan at all. The situation feels similar to Bury last season when they kept Clark to long, then hired another numpty. Don’t make the same mistake! Time for Rahic to admit defeat and bring in an actual real manager and let him have full control.

 

Maybe a few years down the line, after a few years experience on a first team bench, Collins will have earned the right to a shot a managerial role at a football league club. At this moment in time he sinking in the deep end, he needs rescuing and releasing from his role for his own good and for the long term benefit for the team. I don’t blame him for taking the role after being offered it, anyone in their right mind would have. I will be going next week to Fleetwood but not sure why. I’m not even sure what result i want, a win is only delaying the inevitable, i dont want to think of it like that but have already seen enough.
Now to Rahic, the elephant in the room. Thinks he can rewrite the books on football management. Problem now like any business is us ‘customers’ are losing faith in the brand name. I dont think its far off the point of no return. He isnt exactly mr Popular in the first place yet his appointment of Collins beggared belief. Does anyone have any faith in his ownership anymore? Since Wembley he has overseen one feckup to another. The Collins balls up was done out of sheer panic as one after another manager candidate turned us down.
It will take a hell of a kick in Rahic’s ego to admit he has got this badly wrong but its his only option. Had he have appointed a track record proven manager, with the squad assembled the pressure would have been off Edin. Instead he has made his own bed, time for him to lie in it.

 

Just to add one more thing to my post, plenty would want to manage Bradford City even some at other league 1 clubs, a big club at this level and one that could actually hold its own above unlike the Yeovil’s and Burtons of the world, so many didn’t apply and not want it because of the club, or the players because of the working conditions nothing else.
