I don't know the full details of our injuries but what we do know is that some of the players we brought in this season have not had the best records with regards past injuries but someone on the footballing side of our club physios, conditioning coach etc must have thought they were manageable, maybe unlucky was not the right word but until we see these players get game time then we wont know what they have to offer with regards taking the chance on signing them.

The conundrum we have is nearly every team want it more, they mostly look quicker fitter and more technical than most of our players

We suffer every year from injuries, match fitness, illness in squad, last into most 50/50s we lack being able to manage passages of play ,we look bereft of any cohesive patterns , we struggle in every formation and every squad looks miles off no matter the manager.

Yes the question should also be asked of who was supposed to mark the lad who scored, maybe playing a back three they weren't sure of who was picking who up especially when their keeper also joined in the fun, but IMO Walker has to do better.

 

I wonder how many other teams would have gone to Colchester and played so negatively from the off. At least we should recognise the performance from the ref. He was probably mom today.

Alexander seems to have a bout of the Mark Hughes syndrome finishing the season so well, the new season comes and instead of building on that platform he thinks playing a back 3 is the way to go bringing in players who he says prefer that formation,
We've seen little with regards any sort of consistency never mind entertainment, I'm as frustrated as any other City supporter but he has this season to get us out of this division, I say that because unless the club are going to dismiss him before the transfer window there's no point IMO and like it or not even with the stuff that's been served up were still very much in the mix for at least a play off, not I'm not happy that it might have to be the lottery that we know the play offs can be but for me he has this season.

 

Some believe it is, get rid of Rupp, Sparks, Gent, Sharp and Alexander and his backroom staff all will be well with a new owner with brass, just ask Carlisle fans.
