Adams was a lottery ticket, who the club got to leave Morecambe, where he has returned and is certainly performing better than we are .Hughes on the face of it looked like a very promising lottery ticket.

 

True. But given the complete lack of progress we're making, I seriously question whether another reason he's happy to bide his time, is because the material delta between revenue and what we spend on the playing budget, provides ample room for an 'ownership dividend'.

 

Do we know if Rupp has ever taken dividend payments.

If we had a proper structure and strategic direction in place the club would've realised that we were close last year and just needed to tweak what we had - replace Banks, Crichlow, Ridehalgh and add another centre mid with competition for Cook too.

Instead what we got was a scattergun approach doing a complete U turn in on field tactics signing players which, if we're honest, wouldn't have been on the radar of Stockport/Mansfield/Wrexham etc let alone actually sign them.

This is where the club fails. The revenue growth is to be applauded, bit u til someone with interest and ability comes in to direct the footballing side, we are where we are and will continue to be so.

 

It was the Squad chosen by the manager and backed by the CEO. we had the Squad it was the manager who failed to utilise it to the best it could be

 

He can and is waiting. The problem he apparently cannot see is the fans have had enough and then not only will the waiting have to stop he will need to scramble to gain any buyer. If that results in relegation good luck with the £10 million price tag.

Park, I find your inability to accept criticism of how the club is run excruciatingly painful. We have massively under achieved since losing the play off final to Millwall 6 years ago, regardless of appointing so-called "promising" managers during that time. Please take off your biased rose-tinted specs and just bloody admit we are a rudderless ship and have been for some time, and things must change at the top starting with Sparks, Gent & possibly Rupp

I honestly believe that @Park bantam know where the fans are coming from. He’s not an idiot but clearly is a WUM. He knows the club is a mess currently and has been for a while. Only a fool can’t see this.

 

A small sliver of hope is if there is a takeover ongoing in the background, then perhaps that’s why we’re not getting managers and they’re backing out but it needs completion quickly in that case!

Well you will have to get used to a bit of pain then. Until I or you know caused or is causing the delay I won’t be criticising. For instance if the club have had someone in mind after due dillegence who has decided to go elsewhere what do you expect them to do just pick a name out of the hat to appease people. Or they may not have been impressed with anyone and decided to wait and seek better alternatives the point is you and I don’t know. What I do criticise them for is news management tTrueman would have probably been on the touch line on Saturday they didn’t need to say anything about that.

 

Think you have misunderstood my post pal. You are referring to events of the last couple of days....I have generalised basically everything we've had to suck up for the past 6 seasons. The various statements about not accepting mediocrity, the silence from the clowns running the club, the marketing drive to make the club sustainable at the expense of constant shite first team recruitment. You might be happy with all that, clapping away like a demented seal, but the rest of us aren't

The club only file abbreviated accounts don’t they (the min legal requirement as is commonplace with football clubs)? And dividends wouldn’t show in such accounts?

so only way to know is see Rupp’s personal account or know the accountant?

 

Whether he is taking money out or not and there is absolutely no evidence he is. When he took control from Rahic the club was broke and was on the brink. It’s now sitting well financially
