    ye remember Brian Mitchell great strike bottom corner from quick free kick. Think 3-1 win over Everton was same ssn aswell.

    I seem to remember seeing footage of the 1970 FA cup match between city and Spurs at Valley Parade(2 - 2)

    The bbc must still have it and I would love to see that again ;)

    was anyone at a cup game, midweek against newcastle, second season in the prem? We were 3-0 down, came back to 3-3. Then lost, 4-3 i think?? Ian Nolan scored one of ours. Apart from that the memory is vague, though i recall embracing a steward up in the gods at 3-3 :D still not as bad and gut wrenching as the 5-4 hammers loss @Interested Bystander@Interested Bystander ....

    One of the best games I've seen, could have gone 8-8
    Bywater the kid who went in goal was still playing for Burton last season

    We hit the post to make it 5-2 as well, willing it in we were :D still, despite the disappointment of losing, it was a remarkable game.

    That was September 1992 mate.
    We had the Freeman's diamond kit.
    1994/95 we lost 4-3 at home to town, the lemon tree police operation, and drew 0-0 away a week after the England Lansdowne road riot, there was loads of trouble on our first visit to what then was called the McCalpine Stadium.

    Yes I was at that game. Took over 1500 on a Tuesday night at the end of August.
    6 weeks later we went back to Nottingham for the 2-2 at Forest
    If anyone has the promotion/Wembley season goals collection on VHS then we can relive those moments

    i remember seeing John hawley have a fag on the bench when he was sub for us at Wigan. Stubbed it out, took off his tracky top and came on.

    The 3-2 win at Burnley, in the promotion season was brilliant.

    Brightwell got sent off and Kiwomya last minute winner.

    Reduced capacity so we only got 800 tickets but were 5 yards away from home fans.

    Fantastic atmosphere.
