Town sharper, well drilled and coached with purpose. Really disappointed and not impressed by McCall's tactical prowess.

 

What has happend to Cooke?? Apart from the chance he should have buried he was nowhere to be seen.
Sutton tries hard and is busy but can't pass a ball. Watt was useless and Novak might aswell have stayed at home.
Donaldson was our best player tonight and put in a solid shift with little reward.
I feel like McCall changed the shape to get Evans into the team but once he went off at HT we should have changed formation. Whatever he was trying tonight didn't work.

 

Jesus H, we were awful tonight. Harrogate completely outplayed us. They look like a proper up and coming team. Well done to them - as for us, some serious evaluation required. Harrogate have got to be worth a bet for promotion on that performance, they we’re excellent.

 

Me too. First half we were 2nd best but not that bad, 2nd half we've gone to pieces and lost any shape we had. You can't take Billy Clarke off when you are playing without wingers, and the wingers we have aren't very good.
Harrogate have had the bulk of that side together for a while and it showed but over the game we were 2nd best. It's a good job McCall didn't go with three at the back because of he had done their chances would have been more clear cut, which is probably why he with a (very) flat back four.

 

The defeat to Bolton had little effect on Harrogate they played exactly as they had done second half against them, knocking the ball around for fun, how hard is it to pass and move, this squad has problems get a formation and bloody stick too it McCall, this is not good enough.

 

Was Rupp ever in, where is the clown still playing with his race car while we get bossed by a team fresh out of non league.

 

I thought Cooke started well but then our whole midfield disappeared, Sutton was abysmal he was trying but jesus christ gave everything away.

Harrogate totalling dominant in every department, the scoreline flattered us.

First time I've seen them play since February, and they look even worse than last season on that showing.

Bit of a summing up for what it’s worth.

-We sit far too deep and this allowed them to play tonight.
- no width at all. Full backs can’t really get forward as we don’t keep ball enough. Therefore zero supply except scraps for front two
- Donaldson was actually half decent in spells with what he had. Some good hold up play and flicks.
- Sutton garbage. Runs around a lot but so could I. What’s his position?
- French looks lightweight and panics on the ball. Either a first time deep cross or a pass back
- watt had some really tidy touches and tried to pass forward and quickly. If we could get him in middle with a ball winner we’d be ok in there.
- Clarke again doesn’t have a position
- formation all over shop. I’ve never seen a diamond work ever at this level. Why did he play that? What was he trying to stop?
- Daniels looks raw and is not a replacement for vaughan.
- no real pattern to the play from us. Some nice touches then mindless hoof to no one. Nothing from set pieces. What do we do in training?

You see how unorganised we are really are on the telly . There’s no banks of players at all in the games it’s just a mess . Players running around with no position . You can see Harrogate organised , hard to break down , everyone knowing there role and been disciplined in it . We have a team of has been a and McCall’s chuffed it all been pally . I don’t no what Tyler French offers at all .

 

our club has forgotten who we are, lost it’s spirit and identify and we are an embarrassment to watch. The players look lost and devoid of shape and ideas.

Something needs to change urgently we only started really pushing at 70 minutes.

Where is the pride and passion shame on the lot of you.
