City Versus Bolton

All have been out on loan in their respective careers bar Devine and none of them impressed during those spells, Donny fans had nothing good to say about Anderson. All bang average footballers.

 

The back 4 have been fine. French and Longridge both encouraging. Donaldson has been bright but a bit sloppy. Pritchard looks promising. But everything between the front and back is a car crash. Can't tackle. Can't pass. No physical strength. No shape. No creativity.

 

Gibson has a 10 or 15 minute spell in a game where he looks half decent, the rest he's just a bang average footballer, certainly has never looked anywhere near good enough to nail down a permanent place.

 

Fair enough, I didn't mean to suggest it wasn't worthy of discussion, but I certainly am not interested in the result or the details.

We could play our reserves for all I'm bothered.

In all honesty I'd sack bowyer now purely for the fact we have no tackling ability in midfield and it's all his fault. The result? A bunch of kids running rings round us.

Well it's a damn good job we're signing a defensive midfielder in the transfer window then isn't it? An answer to our problems.

No need to apologies I just didn't understand your sudden change in stance, I'm as frustrated as the next Bradford City fan sat here watching this, I posted I'd prefer him to start a strong side with potentially Saturdays starting 11 and get a formation sorted if it's 4-3-3 so be it but I can't see how he can gain anything from this team selection and formation.

 

When patrick is the best player in the side and the only one remotely interested or lively then you know we have issues

Meaningless competition maybe but you pull on the Claret and Amber and should give your all no matter what's at stake.
For me it's another half of a non committal group of players.
Wages are paid regardless but to be honest I wouldn't pay this shower in peanuts.

No matter what level the game is losing is a bad habit to get into.

 

Agree we should go out to win every single game regardless. Man City do it and take them all seriously, Burton 9-0 or whatever it was for example. They never let up and they are the best.

It becomes a habit but sadly so does losing and we have that habit from last season.

He better be reading them the riot act at half time

 

Its not just tonight though, three defeats on the bounce if we do go on to lose this. There's no real form running through the team and it all feels very flat.

 

We just need a good preseason to gel
