I think the only positive is Devine's and Anderson's performances tonight will thankfully keep them out of the side for the foreseeable.

 

And to think people were creaming themselves over his performance a few games ago. Some even crazily mentioned a motm performance. He is a park avenue player in the making. Same with Anderson, just doesn't have the basic skilset of a professional footballer. Certain players are stepping up to the plate now, BRE looking solid every game, both AOC and POC look able partners. O'Donnell looking good, Vaughan and Donaldson look threatening. Pritchard should get the left side berth, the three other midfield spots up for grabs.

 

Accurate or not, at full time GB was laughing and joking with his opposite number as if he didn't have a care in the world.

After drawing and in fact being outplayed for 45 minutes by a team with 3 successive 5 0 defeats and full of teenagers I'd be absolutely raging!

The celebrations after the penalties and the fist pumping by a few of the players was equally embarrassing.

 

You're overestimating the intelligence of our fanbase.

Longridge has looked good. Good passing and crossing. Getting forward well.
Pritchard very confident, quick, skillful. Him and Ismael on the wings could be very nice to watch.

You do realise we were effectively playing children tonight. It's a dreadful performance and a dreadful result.

 

Maybe. I do think an element of credit goes to their young lads. I know they've been getting their arses handed every week but they played with real spirit. We had chances, hit the post a couple of times, missed a couple of real chances from corners, went near a couple of other times. I'm not dressing it up, but we could easily have had 3 or 4. The main thing for me is that in the second half we did at least get on the front foot. More urgency with the ball, more forward passes, more aggression to win the ball back. Those basics have been lacking in our performances to date.

 

Thought Devine was awful tonight. Wouldn't surprise me if we ship him out on loan to a non league club, and tonight is his last game for us.

 

I'm not assuming it, the manager is!

I'm saying its bullsh*t. I'm saying the manager didn't prepare his team properly and is again deflecting blame.
