I remember the group sat behind us started singing about going up when the second goal went in. I told them to sing something else - it was far too soon to count our Bantams. I relented when the third went in.
It would have been nice to get a 4th at our end, but there was nothing wrong with that day at all.

 

I think the first time I allowed myself to start singing about going up was around the 89th minute. It was all too perfect, something was bound to go wrong. Thankfully it didn't!

What a team.

 

For anyone who can’t get enough of it, simply missed it, or wants to record it, it’s scheduled to be rerun on Sky Football channel tomorrow, Thursday at 1500hrs.

I was on a flight back from Taiwan which didn't arrive into Heathrow until about 5pm. As soon as it landed I put my phone on saw the result. Then heard a few cheers further back on the plane. Another City fan had done the same thing, we were both smiling like idiots. I bet the rest of the passengers thought we were nuts.

 

@JonButterfield , @Tony Wilkinson - nooo, not the the Crawley punch. There was a ball in to the top corner of the box, he came an awful long way and I was starting to cringe, then he jumped and walloped it downfield, seem to remember 2 or 3 bodies in his way but he still got it.
