Here we go then -- what I have as City's capped foreigners. The numbers are for full internationals, unless something else has been added, e.g. U21, Youth, etc., and they may not be completely up-to-date.
I missed Curtis Good in my OP; he's been added here.
City's Capped foreigners:
G: Hansen* (Denmark (U21: 1)), Jansson* (Sweden (U21: 2)), Jones (Australia: 6), Myhill * (USA (Wales: 20)), Paston (New Zealand: 36), Petterson* (Australia (Youth)), Ricketts (Jamaica: 100), Roberts (Australia: 1), Schwarzer (Australia: 109), Zabica (Australia: 28)
RB: Halle (Norway: 64), Petrescu (Romania: 95), Podd (St. Kitts: ?)
CH: Good* (Australia: 2), McGowan (Australia: 21), Stewart* (Jamaica: 57)
LB: Meredith (Australia: 2), Youga (Central African Republic: 6)
M/W: Daley (Jamaica: 72), Edds (Australia (U23: 2)), Furman* (South Africa: 25), Ismail (Albania (England: Youth)), Johnson* (Jamaica: 74), Jorgensen (Faroe Islands: 10), Kulcsar (Hungary (Australia: 3)), Morais (Portugal (U21: 2)), Nix (Australia (England: Youth, Semi-Pro)), Reid (PJ) (Australia: 2), Songo'o (Cameroon (U20: 3))
F: Ashikodi* (Nigeria (England: Youth)), Bookman (Lithuania (Ireland: 4)), Cadete (Mozambique (Portugal: 33)), Carbone (Italy (U21: 8)), Ndumbu Nsungu (Congo (U21)), Steiner (Sweden: 3), Sundgot (Norway: 1), Vanhala (Finland: 23), Vuckic (Slovenia: 1), Wells (Bermuda: 19), Zoko (Ivory Coast (U20, U23))
Edited to add Podd to the list as well.
Edited to add Songo'o. He also appeared for France (U16).

And for a side (using only full internationals), how about:
G: Schwarzer
RB: Halle (think I'll still prefer him)
CH: Good, Stewart
LB: Meredith
M/W: Daley, Furman, Jorgensen, Johnson
F: Wells, Steiner
Subs: Ricketts; Petrescu, Youga, Reid, Kulcsar, Sundgot, Vuckic
Keeper and fullbacks no worries, pace to burn on the wings, and one natural scorer at least. Could do worse...
Edit: as per my later post, let's follow the sources and take Podd as a full international, put him into the starting XI, move Halle to the subs bench, and Petrescu to the squad.

Bruno and Lawrence were born in England, so in the context of this thread -- foreign-born foreign players -- I left them out. And I was in two minds about Irish players, but in the end decided to omit them as well.
Podd I wasn't sure about -- I expected he'd played internationally for St. Kitts, but so far I've not found a mention of the number of caps: Hugman doesn't give details, as he does for most other internationals, Rothman's hasn't helped, at least in the volumes I have, and the ever-reliable Wikipedia just says he played internationally for St. Kitts!
But yes, as one of our undisputed legends, let's put him in, move Halle to the subs, and Petrescu to the squad. Ces managed the St. Kitts national side for a few years, so that gets him in anyways -- he can be joint interim permanent manager with Pehrsson!

I'll propose Louis Bookman for the list. Since my "capped foreigners" post, I've found that he, despite being born in Lithuania, won 4 caps for Ireland, one (in 1914) when he was playing for us, and then three more in 1921.
I've edited that post accordingly.
There's been a few cases like that: e.g. the Hungarian Kulcsar appearing for the Aussies, the Aussie Nix for the lower levels of England, along with English-born players appearing internationally for other nations.

Zoko is another who was adequate elsewhere, but didn't do it for us.

Mick Mchugh was Irish wasn’t he? I once spoke to him at Shipley swimming baths of all places and pretty sure he was from the Emerald Isle.
Stapleton also. Never though he did much in a City shirt as a player manager.Bronco likes this. -
